Evento faz parte das atividades da Semana do Patrimônio, organizada pelo Nepim do IFSP
O Núcleo do Patrimônio Imaterial e Material (Nepim) do Instituto Federal de São Paulo (IFSP), com o apoio da Editora do IFSP (EDIFSP), realiza o pré-lançamento do livro “Memórias, histórias e patrimônio: experiências de pertencimento“, no dia 16 de agosto, às 18h, na Casa das Rosas, localizada na Av. Paulista, n.° 37.
O livro é o resultado final da pesquisa de iniciação científica do Programa de Bolsas Voluntárias (PIVICT 2021-22) realizada junto ao departamento de Pesquisa e Extensão do Campus São Paulo, e traz um olhar infanto-juvenil direcionado ao território e às camadas da cidade.
A publicação é organizada pela Thais Souza, docente do IFSP, e por Eduardo Barbosa de Melo, aluno da graduação em Geografia desta Instituição. Thais conta que a intenção do livro é criar com o leitor uma relação de pertencimento e (re)conhecimento, com destaque para duas regiões da cidade de São Paulo: o Largo da Banana e o do Peixe. A obra também traz uma breve apresentação do que é patrimônio cultural no Brasil.
